Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) service provides personalised, 24/7 support in a safe, welcoming home where participants can develop everyday living skills while enjoying a fulfilling and independent lifestyle.
We work alongside each participant to build their confidence, encourage personal growth, and create an environment where they feel valued, respected, and empowered to achieve their goals. Whether it's learning new skills, participating in the community, or simply feeling at home, our dedicated team is committed to supporting every step of the journey.
What We Can Support
Daily Living
Support with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, shopping, routines and medication assistance in accordance with the participant’s plan.
Building Independence
Developing skills such as cooking, budgeting, communication, decision-making, problem-solving and using public transport.
Community & Social Connection
Support to attend appointments, activities, community events, cultural celebrations and build meaningful social connections.
Health & Wellbeing
Encouragement to maintain healthy routines, access appropriate health and allied health services and work towards individual NDIS goals.
24/7 Support
Depending on individual needs and funding, support may include around-the-clock assistance, overnight support, and support during mornings, evenings and weekends.
Who May Benefit From SIL?
SIL may be suitable for eligible NDIS participants who:
- Require regular support within the home
- Want to develop greater independence
- Are transitioning from their family home or another living arrangement
- Want to strengthen everyday living skills
- Would benefit from a supportive shared or individual living arrangement
