Restoring Confidence. Rebuilding Connection. Renewing Independence.
Lighthouse Community Connect Services, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to live a life filled with purpose, belonging, and possibility.
RESTORE Community Access is our signature community participation programme, created to help participants reconnect with their community, discover new opportunities, build meaningful relationships, and develop the confidence to live more independently.
The name RESTORE reflects the heart of what we do. We believe that through genuine relationships, encouragement, and personalised support, people can restore confidence, rediscover purpose, strengthen independence, and build a future filled with opportunity. Whether you're looking to develop new skills, explore hobbies, make friends, or become more involved in your local community, our experienced and culturally diverse team will walk alongside you every step of the way. Together, we'll help you achieve your goals while creating experiences that are enjoyable, meaningful, and uniquely yours.

How We Support
RESTORE provides meaningful one-to-one support that helps participants build confidence and greater independence in everyday life.

Community Participation
Accessing social, recreational, sporting, cultural and community activities based on the participant’s interests.

Independence & Life Skills
Developing practical skills such as shopping, budgeting, meal planning, using public transport and accessing local services.

Health & Wellbeing
Participating in appropriate fitness, recreational and wellbeing activities within the community.

Personal Development
Exploring community-based learning, volunteering, training and other opportunities aligned with the participant’s NDIS goals.

Connection & Belonging
Connecting with local groups, organisations, sporting clubs and activities that can create genuine relationships and ongoing community participation.

More Than Community Access
RESTORE is about more than simply taking someone into the community. Our focus is on helping participants develop the skills and confidence to become increasingly engaged and independent.
Our Support Workers take a person-centred, culturally responsive and trauma-informed approach, encouraging participant choice and adapting support to each individual.
Build confidence. Develop independence. Create connection.
How It Works
1
Referral – We discuss the participant’s goals, support needs and available NDIS funding.
2
Meet & Greet – We get to know the participant, their interests, preferences and goals.
3
Participant Choice – The participant decides whether RESTORE is right for them.
4
Goals & Support Plan – Together, we develop meaningful activities and an individualised Support Plan.
5
RESTORE Begins – The participant is matched with an appropriate Support Worker and supports commence. Progress is regularly reviewed as confidence, skills and goals develop.
Start Your RESTORE Journey
We work alongside participants, families, Support Coordinators and other members of the support network to keep supports meaningful and connected to individual NDIS goals.
